Bi Alhousniya​

Carpet with warm colours that has a central medallion in a lovely orange that attracts the eye named Al Housniya, harmonising an orchestra of motifs.
Density of weave for this carpet is of medium quality, though it is stamped superior quality, 30 knots x 30 knots (90 000 knots/m²).

Stamped Carpet named Modern Rabat Carpet. Indeed, the field features a colour that is neither madder red or cochineal red.
On the back, the lead that guaranteed the stamp quality. Lead use was abandoned around 1975.

Though this carpet is classified as modern, it is made without use of a model, which leaves the central motif of the transversal band apparent, not in correspondence with the logic of side motifs.
Band created with motifs that alternate in perfect harmony of colours. Here, the dominant motif is named Haloua M’chououka (cake with spines).
